Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Inspector to join our Electronics Team.

Key Responsibilities / Duties Include:

  • Objective dimensional inspection of products for design compliance within specified tolerances.

  • Subjective quality inspection of products to System-25 manufacturing standards and local Code of Practice.

  • PCB and Soldering inspection.

  • Periodic servicing of car harnessing including inspection and test following documented procedures.

  • Reliability and Design focussed feedback through "See It, Say It, Fix It".

  • Adherence to H&S policies with correct PPE at all times.

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant experience in top level motorsport is essential.

Simulation and Modelling Engineer (Ref REQ-200280)

Job Description

An exciting position has become available in the applied sciences team for a new Simulation and Modelling Engineer. This position will report to the Lead Simulation and Modelling Engineer, and will work on exciting customer projects.

We are looking for pragmatic engineers with the appropriate mathematical, modelling and vehicle dynamics skills along with the ability to write quality code towards the development of our simulations in the desired environments.

Key accountabilities / duties include:

  • Develop and maintain physics models, sub-models and simulations to continuously meet the requirements of customer toolsets.

  • Ensure on-going validation and correlation of models to track and rig data to ensure robust validity of simulation results.

  • Research and use appropriate technologies to ensure the continuous development of our models and simulation tools to meet the engineering requirements of our customers.

  • Interact across the entire Team to provide tools and solutions to support objective technical decision making.

Candidate Profile:

As well as being a passionate, hardworking team player, the ideal candidates will possess:

  • A mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree (preferably Masters) from a leading university or similar qualification is essential, but your skills, experience, ability to learn, energy and attitude are most important.

  • Excellent grounding in mechanics and in engineering numerical methods. Experience in non-linear programming techniques and optimal control will be considered beneficial.

  • Conversant with engineering software tools and object-oriented coding languages.

  • Excellent communicative and collaborative skills are essential.
