Key accountabilities / duties include:

  • Develop and maintain physics models, sub-models and simulations to continuously meet the requirements of customer toolsets.

  • Ensure on-going validation and correlation of models to track and rig data to ensure robust validity of simulation results.

  • Research and use appropriate technologies to ensure the continuous development of our models and simulation tools to meet the engineering requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and maintain web-based software applications used in aerodynamic development (eg data visualisation and the processes that wrap around our Computational Fluid Dynamics tools)

    Candidate profile:

    You have experience of Formula 1 aerodynamics, using experimental and / or CFD methods to develop concepts that improve car performance.

    Capable of working on your own and applying your reflective nature to understand a problem, your open and honest communication style means you also relish collaborating in a team setting.  With a broad overview of your subject, you enjoy discussing technical concepts and finding solutions to problems by applying your interpretive skills, attention to detail and dependable judgment. 

    You have good university results, either at post-graduate level (eg Masters or PhD in Aerodynamics) or graduate level (eg a First or cum laude in Aeronautical Engineering).
