Job Description

Mercedes-Benz Motorsport Limited (MBM) are recruiting for a Performance Centre Coach.

As a Performance Centre Coach, you will support, tutor and inspire the team and all customer teams across the site, to deliver a service that allows each Team member to optimise their own personal health and wellbeing.

As well as supporting The Performance Centre team, you will ensure the safe and effective running of the onsite gym facilities, you will be expected to deliver a first-class service to all team members and customers of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of the gym

  • Develop physical conditioning and wellbeing of all team members on site

  • Help grow engagement of employee interaction with facility initiatives

  • Support employee education on nutrition and physical activity

  • Develop specialised class content for employees to promote wellbeing

  • Drive engagement across the company with new initiatives

  • Ensure the facility is kept to the highest standard, ensuring an outstanding customer experience

  • Engaging employees to increase physical activity

  • Managing a wide spectrum of clients with regards to their wellbeing requirements on an individual basis

  • Supporting in the creation of dynamic and inviting class schedules

  • Managing customer feedback and complaints

  • Ensuring the maintenance of all facility equipment is kept to the highest standard

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Sports Science, Leisure Management degree or similar qualification

  • Accreditation by an acknowledged professional body (UKSCA, CIMSPA) desirable

  • Minimum 2+ years of coaching experience, including delivery of physical training programs

  • Experience designing training programs
