We are looking for an enthusiastic Trimmer to join the Composite Assembly department.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a core department in assembling high quality carbon components for our F1 racing car in the most efficient, cost-effective manner.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Trim, fit and bond carbon fibre components as specified in engineering drawings and build instructions

  • Assembling moulds, jigs, and fixtures

  • Structural bonding of components to company specifications

  • Ability to deal with technical challenges and solve problems as they arise

  • Responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards on all manufactured composites components to defined standards

  • Proactively contribute to the improvement of quality and efficiency

  • Working to challenging and demanding lead times

  • Assisting other areas of the department as required

The successful candidate will display the following attributes:

  • Ability to demonstrate significant previous experience of trimming/fitting a broad range of composite materials in Motorsport / F1

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, always remaining respectful

  • A methodical and thorough approach to the work with excellent attention to detail

  • Be self-motivated and can motivate and influence others

  • Work as part of a team in an ever-demanding environment

  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues

  • Work well under pressure to meet demanding deadlines

  • Able to work with minimal supervision

  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to be flexible
