Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the effective running of Accounts Payable through timely delivery of supplier payments and query management. The individual will build good working relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
Support the operational relationship with MBGP’s 3rd party AP provider and ensure SLAs are met
Manage the daily processing of invoices and credit notes
Assist with training new team members
Ensure suitable processes are documented & followed
Support with route-cause investigations for repetitive invoice queries & processing problems and assist with process improvements
Reconciling various accounts
Candidate Profile
AAT or equivalent qualified or studying towards
SAP experience required
Competent with all basic Microsoft Office applications
Experience within an accounting role, preferably within the Financial Accounting sector
A practical individual who is able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team.
Must be able to work in fast paced, high pressured situations
Problem solving and attention to detail is also critical to this role
The candidate should have excellent communication skills with both colleagues and external parties
