Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a truly unique Championship winning team. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Financial Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, changeable environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of all internal financial reporting, including monthly Group reporting and annual planning cycle.
  • Lead the delivery of all external financial reporting including year-end statutory accounts and audit. 
  • Opportunity to implement new processes and efficiencies within the financial reporting area, including a new internal controls testing process.
  • Manage the fixed asset reporting requirements for the Team including working with key internal stakeholders on capital projects.
  • Maximise the use of technology to increase efficiencies within the financial reporting area.
  • Act as number 2 for the Financial Controller when required.

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified. Experience in using SAP and Concur is preferable but not essential. The ideal candidate will have good technical experience of FRS 102 and IFRS and solid experience of internal controls testing and design.

Travel Coordinator (12 Months FTC) (Ref REQ-190210)

TRAVEL COORDINATOR: REF – REQ 190210

12 months fixed term

A vacancy has arisen for a Travel Coordinator reporting to the Team Travel manager.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the cost-effective provision and administration of travel and accommodation, predominantly for Mercedes F1, with support to Mercedes FE.

Key Accountabilities (Duties)

Co-ordinate the management of events and adhoc including but not limited to:

  • Identify and communicate the best travel options (timing / cost) whilst adhering to policies and procedures
  • Production and publication of the travel itinerary (including preparation of the itinerary document, welcome letter and Travel packs with E-Tickets).
  • Hotel bookings
  • Booking of ground transfers both in the UK and overseas.
  • Maybe required to travel although will be limited
  • Work with Daimler to organise the allocation and use of Daimler supplied vehicle.
  • Completion of the flight manifest including input of passenger details and submission to airlines
  • Check, reconcile and complete the administrative process for all invoices.
  • Ensure all team members have the relevant Visa and vaccinations requirements.
  • Safeguard that all travel is organised in line with the Travel Policy.
  • Certify that all travel bookings are made in accordance with the Purchasing Policy.

As and when requested, assist and provide support to the Travel Manager and the rest of the travel team including:

  • Maintain and provide records and other information to facilitate the smooth operation of the travel department.
  • Help other travel coordinators with coordination of their events

When procuring travel related services (flights, hotels, etc) ensure that the best procurement practice is followed to ensure that the best commercial terms and rates are achieved.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience of GDS
  • Experience of travel administration in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience of SAP is desirable
  • Advanced Excel and numeracy skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A self-driven, pro-active  individual with a “can do” attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Good inter-personal skills & ability to communicate at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines

Change Management Specialist (Fixed Term Contract) (Ref REQ-190236)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Change Management Specialist to join our team. The purpose of this role is to work within HR and alongside technical project managers to support the design and delivery of the Team's transformation and change projects from the human perspective, to ensure fast, seamless deployment and maximum employee engagement. Transformation projects include but are not limited to our enterprise resource planning system, design tools and compliance with regulatory changes.

The role will involve:

  • Designing a lean and efficient change management approach for an F1 environment.
  • Working closely with project managers to develop and apply the structured change management methodology in support of the initiative.
  • Ensure that the human perspective is a standard agenda item on all project management meetings and provide necessary input.
  • Provide impact analysis, assess change readiness, identify key stakeholders, change agents and targets.     
  • Consult, coach and engage leaders, managers and all stakeholders.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programmes.
  • Creating actionable deliverables for: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.

Candidate profile:

  • Relevant degree, with 2:1 or above.
  • Experience of change management methodologies
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change
  • Exceptional listening, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Effectively builds relationships and influences people.
